Love, we captured the sun And now that is done It's time to go home Love, we walked in the rain Survived the pain And all that remains The visions of eastern dreams Sail on eternally The wonder and mystery Echoes in endless sea Somewhere out of a dream The faces unseen Longing for hope Trying to cope Somewhere out of a dream In starlight serene Trying to believe The pathway will weave Out of a dream Love, we captured the sun It's over and done Tears in the rain Love, we walked down the road Carried the load Castles in air It's some kind of fantasy Twilight enternally Shadows and mysteries Moonlight and symphonies Somewhere out of a dream The faces unseen Longing for hope Trying to cope Somewhere out of a dream In starlight serene Trying to believe The pathway will weave Out of a dream Love, we captured the sun And now that is done It's time to go home Love, we walked in the rain Survived the pain And all that remains The visions of eastern dreams Sail on eternally The wonder and the mystery Echoes in endless sea Somewhere out of a dream The faces unseen Longing for hope Trying to cope Somewhere out of a dream In starlight serene Trying to believe The pathway will weave Out of a dream

In the canopy of stars Are secrets of the nine centuries Between Venus, Earth and Mars Symbols of the ancient fantasies Signs of life Cross the starry the sky Moonlight dances on the water Rivers flow into the sea Stars align in perfect order Secrets of Astrology In an age of metaphor The search for epiphones Between here and evermore From Atlantis to the Pleiades Signs of life Cross the starry the sky Moonlight dances on the water Rivers flow into the sea Stars align in perfect order Secrets of Astrology Fire burns across heavens Time will flow like mystery Find the source of holy water Secrets of Astrology On nights when stars shine bright Over mountains near the sea Like candles on a lonely night They light infinity And when the stars align High in the sky I wonder where they hide away When morning drowns the night Signs of life Cross the starry the sky ...

Time slips away Over before it’s done And I haven’t changed Much more than anyone Well I can see, I can see All that I used to be, used to be And so I’ll sail away, sail away With what is left of me, left of me Into the sunset Time’s hurricane Began when we were young And faster than change Soon all the songs were sung But time will tell, time will tell I said to the wishing well, wishing well And even though the sky is blue, the clouds are gray All sold out and gone away, gone today Into the sunset Time slips away Glory is all but done And gone are the days Into the rising sun Oh I can see, I can see Time fly away from me, away from me It’s gotten out of hand, out of reach I walk long along the coast, cross the beach Into the sunset

Time flies like an arrow From here to heaven It soars over mountains To deep blue oceans We walk in the valley We fear no evil We love to our limits We seek forgiveness
16.
Time slips away Over before it’s done The constant of change Touches us everyone And I can see, I can see What lies ahead of me, ahead of me I found the holy grail, Arthur’s grail Beating inside of me, guiding me Into the sunset

about

This album includes live performances of the complete album, The Galactic Collective, performed at The Rites of Spring Festival 2011 along with the “Into the Sunset Suite” and the Norlander-penned Lana Lane songs, “Capture the Sun” and “Secrets of Astrology” creatively woven into medleys that extend the celestial theme with guest vocals by Erik's wife, symphonic rock diva Lana Lane, and favorite Asheville, NC vocalist, Debrissa McKinney.

The live band on this recording is completed with the core musicians from The Galactic Collective studio album: Mark Matthews (b), Nick LePar (d) and Freddy DeMarco (d). Erik's live keyboard arsenal here includes his famous "Wall of Doom" modular Moog synthesizer.

Live in Gettysburg is the companion to its partner release, The Galactic Collective - Digital Deluxe Edition, that contains the complete studio recordings.
